Health Guarantee & Sales Agreement

At Loved Persian Kittens, our goal is to provide healthy, high-quality companions that bring joy to your home for years to come. While we know a beloved pet is irreplaceable, we offer the following protections to support our families in the rare event of a health issue.

1. Two-Year Genetic Health Coverage

If, within the first two years of life, a kitten is found to have a hereditary or congenital disorder that adversely affects its health, or must be humanely euthanized due to genetic issues, we will provide a replacement kitten of your choice from a future litter.

  • Verification: The condition or cause of death must be certified by a licensed veterinarian.

  • Evaluation: We reserve the right to request a second opinion or review diagnostic materials, such as X-rays.

2. Long-Term Genetic Protection (Post 2-Years)

If a genetic-related illness or passing occurs after the kitten turns two, we will provide a 50% credit of your original purchase price toward a new kitten from any of our future pairings. Veterinary certification and potential second opinions are required.

3. Owner Responsibilities

To ensure your kitten’s well-being and maintain this guarantee, we require the following:

  • Initial Exam: While we have our kittens vet-checked within a week of departure, you must have your kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 5 days of arrival.

  • Routine Care: You must maintain annual veterinary exams, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and preventative care (heartworm, flea, and tick).

  • Nutrition: This guarantee remains valid only if the kitten is kept at a healthy weight and fed a premium diet approved by the breeder. For joint-related claims, proof of proper diet and joint supplements may be required.

4. Limitations & Exceptions

  • Medical Bills: We do not reimburse any veterinary costs or medical expenses incurred after the kitten leaves our care.

  • Physical Traits: We cannot guarantee specific adult size, weight, coat color, conformation, or breeding ability.

  • Procedural Costs: This guarantee does not cover costs for spaying/neutering or issues such as undescended testicles.

  • Voiding the Policy: Failure to provide regular medical care, maintaining an overweight kitten, or making unapproved dietary changes will void this health guarantee.

Our Commitment to You:

Your kitten will arrive with a record of all age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming treatments. We will provide a clear schedule for future boosters so you and your vet can continue their path to optimal health.
